2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 849
OF THE CITY OF VERNON

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, ORDINANCE NO. 849 has been adopted by a first,
6 second and third reading before a regular meeting of the City
7 Council of the City of Vernon, and
8 WHEREAS, the effective date of said Ordinance will be
9 June 18, 1974, and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
11 to amend said Ordinance,
12 IT IS ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That SECTION 3 of ORDINANCE NO. 849 is

14 hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 3: The rates to be charged and collected
16 respecting the distribution of energy supplied by the City
17 of Vernon for certain classes of service rendered on and after
18 the effective date of this Ordinance may include a Fuel Cost
19 Adjustment Billing Factor to be determined by the City Council

of the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: There being no newspaper printed, published
or circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall
post the same, or cause the same to be posted, in three (3) of the
most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest
corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northwest corner
of Leonis Boul~vard and Pacific Boulevard, and on the bulletin
board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at
4305 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, County of Los
Angeles, State of California; that this Ordinance shall be in

1 full force and effect thirty (30) days from and after the final
2 passage of the same.
