1 ORDINANCE NO. 855
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 749
3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
4 SECTION 1: SECTION 2 of ORDINANCE NO. 749 is hereby amended
5 to read as follows:

SECTION 2: Credit against rates charged for electri-
7 cal energy, distributed and supplied by the City of Vernon
8 to its electrical consumers, may be given as a percentage
9 of the bill rendered, or any portion thereof, after all
10 other discounts and adjustments are given as allowed by the
11 applicable Base Rate Schedules.
12 SECTION 2: That all other portions of said Ordinance No. 749
13 except SECTION 2, as amended above, shall remain in full force
14 and effect.
15 SECTION 3: There being no newspaper printed, published or
16 circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
17 directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall
18 post the same, or cause the same to be posted, in three (3) of
19 the most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the north-
20 west corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northwest
21 corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard, and on the
22 bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, 10-
23 cated at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, County
24 of Los Angeles, State of California; that this Ordinance shall
25 be in full force and effect thirty (30) days from and after the
26 final passage of the same.
