ORDINANCE NO. 869
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND THE
BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That an amendment to the Contract between the
City Council of the City of Vernon and the Board of Administration
of the California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby
authorized. A copy of said amendment is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A", and by such reference made a part hereof as though
herein set forth in full.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City Council hereby is
authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for
and on behalf of said Agency.
SECTION 3: There being no newspaper of general circula-
tion printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon, the
City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall post the same, or cause the same to be posted
in three (3) of the most public places in said City, to wit: the
northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northwest
corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the

bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located I
