ORDINANCE NO. 882
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON ADOPTING THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES CHECKING FEE SCHEDULE FOR PARCEL MAPS AND SUBDIVISION
3 TRACT MAPS AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 762 AND RESOLUTION
4 NO. 2985 AND ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
5 WHEREAS, the County Surveyor of the County of Los Angeles
6 and the City Engineer of the City of Vernon provide services
7 by mutual agreement for map checking for parcel maps and sub-
8
division maps pursuant to the provisions of Sections 115?9,
9
11576 and 11593(b), of the Busi.ness and Professions Code,

WHEREAS, the City Counci.l cf the City of Vernon has
12 approved and executed an agreement for said services with the
13 County of Los Angeles,
14
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
15 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: TRACT MAP, PARCEL MAP CHECKING FEE
17
Upon submi.ssion of a tract map or a parcel map for
18
checking, pursuant to the provision of Sections 11529, 1157(,
19
20 and 11593(b) of the Business and Professions Code, the
21 subdivider shall pay a map checking fee to the County Engi.neer.
22 in addition to all other fees and charges required by 1aT".,. Thls
23 fee shall be equal to the fee established by the County of Los
24 Angeles for checking tract and parcel maps.

Section 2: There being no newspaper printed, published
27
and circulated in the Ci.ty of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall

I post same, or cause same to be posted, in three of the most
2 public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest
3
corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner
4
of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin
5
6
board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at
7 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles
8 County, California; that this Ordinance shall be in full force
9 and effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of posting.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of August, 1977.
