A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE eI1'Y OF VERNON
ORDERING CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE 011 A PORTION or
EAS'r T\,'EN'fi-SEVEN'rH STREIT AND SANTA R. AnJlUE m SAID eIn.
SECTION 1. The Board of 'rruatees of the City of Vernon, state of
California, hereby orders that~E\t _~i~.Y-3eventh Street
and Santa Fe Avenue be improve~~e oonstruction of
pavementt, curbs, gutters and sewe~s as described in
~~~~;;O~nO~h~N~~10~8~O~f16~~~~1~17~a~~ ~~~~g of
said Resolution reference is hereby made for a description
of said work.
SECTION 2. Bonds will be issued as provided for in said Resolution
of Intention 10. 154.
SEC'rION 3. It is further Resolved that there is no newspaper printai
or ciroulated in said City of Vernon.
SECTION 4. 'rhe City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to post
this Resolution oonspicuously for two days on or near the
chamber door of the Board of Trustees, and to cause a copy
of the same to be posted in three of the most public places
in the 8ity of Vernon, to-wit: one at the north west cor-
ner of Santa Fe Avenue and Thirty-Seventh Streetl another
at the north west co~ner of Santa Fe Avenue and Thirty-
Eighth Street; and another at the front door of the City
Hall.
SECTION 5. The said City Clerk is hereby directed to post conspicu-
ously for five days on or near the chamber door of said
Board of Trustees in the manner and form required by law,
a notice with specifications, inviting sealed proposals
or bids for doing saB work; and said City Clerk is hereby
directed to post a copy of said Notice in the three public
places hereinbefore mentionel.
Said lotice shall require all proposals or bids
offered to be Rccompanied by a certified check or bond,
as prescribed by law, and for an amount not less than ten
per cent of the aggregate of the prop~~;;.
