RESOLUTION NO. /&~
RESOLUTION ORDERING THAT THAT CERTAIN ALLEY IN
THE H. M. AMES SUBDIVISION OF THE GLASSEL TRACT IN THE CITY
OF VERNON BE CLOSED UP, VACATED A:r:.m ABANDONED.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon do
ordain and resolve as follows:
Seotion 1. RESOLVED, that the publio interests
and oonvenienoe require and that the Board of Trustees of
the City of Vernon hereby orders and directs that that
oertain alley in the H. M. Ames Subdivision of the Glassel
Traoiiin the City of Vernon, running through Blocks Ten (10)
eleven (11) and twelve (12) of said traot, parallel with
San Antonio Avenue, formerly oalled George Street, be, and
the same is hereby, olosed up, vacated and abandoned in
aooordanoe with and as oontemplated by Resolution of Inten-
tion of the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon, which
said Resolution was passed on the 16th day of Ootober, 1917,
and numbered Resolution No. 158;
RESOLVED that as said work desoribed in said
Resolution of Intention and in Section 1 hereof is for the
olosing up of said alley, and it appearing to the Board of
Trustees of the City of Vernon that there are no damages,
costs, or~:x:l'.en~e.~,~.risin~,out of ,said work, and that no
assessment is necessar, :tor satd1'1orlf', therefore no
oommissioners are appointed to assess benefits and damages
for said work and to have general supervision thereof.
