arty within said city hereinafter desoribed, and din the"sidewalks

in front thereof, oonstit1J.te, and the same are hereby declared to

be, a public nuisance and nOJ:ious and dangerous and a fire menaoe

to the City of Vernon.

It is further Resolved, That the IEarsha1l of the City of

Vernon be, and he is hereby appointed and constituted Street Super-

intendent of the City of Vernon, and as such Street Superintendent,

shall. upon the passage of this resolution, cause to be conspicuous

1y posted in front of the property on which or in front of which

suoh nuisances exists, snd hereinafter described, at not more than

one hundred (100) feet in distance apart, but not less than three

1918, the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon
passed a resolution declaring that noxious and dan-
gerous weeds were growing upon or in front of the
propel'ty on ,street in said CitiT of
Vernon and more particularly described in'said
resolution, and that the same constitute a public
nuisance wlhich mu.st be abated by the removal of said
noxious and dangerous weeds, other.ise they will be
BQfJ.te<ldby the municipal authorities, in which case
the cost of s'_.ch remova.1 shall be assessed upon the
lots and lands fromwllich_or in front of which suob
weeds are removed, and such cost will constitute a.
lien upon such lots or la.rHls until ,paid. Reference
is hereby made to said resolution for further particulars.
All property owners having any objections to the
proposed removal of such weeds are hereby notified to
attend a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Vernon to be held on the day of Lugnst, 1918,
when their ol)jections will be heard and f,:iven due
consideration.
