chamber door of the Board of Trustees.
3 It is hereby determined, in pursuance of an act of the
4 Legislature of the State of California, entitled "An act to pro-
6 vide a system of street improvement bonds to represent certain
6 jassessments for the cost of street work and improvement within
7 municipalities, and also for the payment of such bonds," approved
8 February 27, 1893, as thereafter amended, that bonds shall be
9 issued to represent the'cost of said work and improvement. Said
10 bonds shall be serial, extending over a period of ten years from
11 the second day of January next succeeding the issuance of said bonds
12 an even annual proportion of the principal sum thereof shall be
13 payable by coupon on the second day of January every year after
14 their date until the whole is paid, and to bear interest at the
1611rate of six per cent per annum on all sums unpaid until the whole
16 of said principal and interest are paid; said interest shall be
17 payable semi; -annually by coupon on the second day of January and
