(D) That all of the roadway of East Forty-sixth Street in the City of Vernon from the easterly line of Pacifio Boulevard to a point thirty (SO) feet west of the westerly boundary line of the Los Angeles Fruit Land Association Tract, as per map recorded in Book 3, page 156, Kisce1laneous "Records of J~os P.ngeles Count'y, including all intersections of streets, alley~ , state of California, and lanes, be graded to the official grade, and paved with asphalt concrete navement on a cement concrete base in accordance with Plan and Profile Ho. 143 (B) and ;5:pecifications Ho. 14 of said city. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that T. W. Garr be, and he is here by, selected, designated and appointed Street Superintendent of the City of Vernon. All of the work herein proposed shall be done in pursuanc of an act of the Legislature of t~e ~t_~9 of ~~lifornia, entitled~ "An act ot provide for work upon streets, lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks, and for the construction of sewers within municipalities," approved March 18, 1885, and the several acts amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto.
