2 RESOLUTION of the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon f
ordering that a certain street and two certain alleys in the City of
3 Vernon running from the Northerly line of 52nd Street to the South-
erly line of Fruitland Road, and lying between Malabar Street and
4 Santa Fe Atenue be closed up, vacated and abandoned for public strut
and alley purposes as contemplated by Ordinance of Intention No. i
8 210.
6 NHEFMAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon did, on
7 the 15th day of July, 1919, pass its Ordinance No'. 210rdeclaring its
8 intention to order the following work and improvement to be We:-
9 to wit:- f
10 To close up, vacate and abandon for public street and alley
11 purposes that certain public street and those certain public alleys
12 in the City of Vernon, particularly described as follows:

(1) That certain unnamed street running from the y
14 Northerly line of 52nd Street to the Southerly
15 line of Fruitland Road, and lying between Blocks
18 25 and 26 of Huntington Park Extension No. 1, as F
17 per map thereof recorded in Book B. page 181, of

18 Maps, records of Los Angeles County, California':
19 (2) That certain alley running from the Northerly
20 line of 52nd Street to the Southerly line of Fruit-
21 land Road bounded on the east by Lots 1,2 and 3 and I
22 on the west by Lots 4.5. and 6 of said Block 25 in
23 said Huntington Park Extension No. 1.
24 (3) That certain alley running from the Northerly
25 line of 52nd Street to the Southerly line of Fruit-

26 land Road bounded on the east by Lots 1,2 and 3 and
a
27 on the west by Lots 4.5 and 6 of said Block 26 in
28 said Huntington Park Extension No. 1.

29 And specifying therein the exterior boundaries of the lands
30 to be affected or benefited by said work and improvement: and
31 WEERLAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Vernon,
32 did, thereupon and thereafter, to wit:- on the lot day of December,

1919, cause to be posted notices of the passage of said Ordinance
No. 210 at the places and in the manner required by law, and in
addition thereto, did cause to be posted and kept posed for a per-
iod of four successive weeks, copies of the notice of the ,assage of
said Ordinance No. 210 in three of the most public places in the
City of Vernon, there being no daily, weekly or semi -weekly news-
paper printed, published and circulated in said city, and
WHEREAS, no objections have been filed against the said pro-
posed work and improveri?ent, and more thsm ten days have elapsed
after the expiration of the time of the posting of said notices of
the passage of said Ordinance No. 210, and the Board of Trustees
of the City of Vernon having acquired jurisdiction to order said
work and improvement as proposed by said Ordinance Ilro, 210:
lffl THMFORE, B IT IR:i"SOLVED BY TIE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
T E, CITY OF VERNON that the public interest and convenience re-
onires the work and improvement hereinbefore described and it is
hereby ordered that said work and improve;�ent be done as aforesaid
and as specifically described and set forth in said Ordin:xice Ne,
210 and in paragraph one (1) hereof.
THE work and improvement hereby ordered to be done being for
the closing up, vacating and abandoning of a public street and pub -
lie alleys, and it appearing to the I'�oard of Trustees of the City
of Vernon that no assessment is necessary for said work and improve-
ment, no commissioners are appointed to assess benefits and damages
and have general supervision thereof.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the C ty of Vernon al. a

January, 1920.
