A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
4 VERnON APPOINrING T. J. FURLONG AS SUPERIETENDENT OF STREETS OF
5 SAID eITY OF VERNON.

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon
8 are desirous of filling the office of Superintendent of Streets
9 of the eity of Vernon made vacant by the resignation ofJ. J.
10 Keller,

THEREFORE, J3lIl IT BESOLVXD:

Section I If
Tha t :r. J. :Furlong be and he is hereby appointed Super-
13
14 intendent of Streets of the City of Vernon.

Section II~

The Superintendent of Streets Shall perfonn all duties
17 required of him by the laws of the State of California and the
18 Ordinances of the City of Vernon.

Section III.
The said T. J. :Furlong shall enter the discharge of his
20
21 duties on and after the passage of this Resolution and shall hold
22 office at the pleasure of said Board of Trustees.
