41 BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City
Jof Vernon that the public interest and convenience require and
6i that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of

8, To close up, vacate, and abandon that portion of East
911 51st. Street in the City of Vernon extending from the east line
10 of Santa Fe Avenue to the west line of Malabar Street (vacated)
11 as shown on map recorded in Book 11, page.6 of Maps in the Office
121of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.

13! And the .said Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon
141II does hereby determine and declare that said proposed work and im-
15 provement is of local and ordinary benefit and will effect and
16lbenefit only the abutting property owners and that no as
17II shall be necessary.
18I All of the herein proposed work shall be done in pursu-
19 ante to an act of the Legislature of the State of California en-
20jtitled "An Act to provide for the laying out, opening, extending,
21I'jwidening, straightening, or closing up, in whole or in part, of
any streets, squares, lanes, alleys, courts, or places within mun-
231licipalities, and to condemn and acquire any and all land or pro-
,dIperty necessary ,or convenient for that purpose (Approved March 6th,
25'111889) and the several acts amendatory thereof and supplementary

There being no newspaper printed and circulated in the

keep same posted for four (4) successive weeks, and to give such
other and further notices in the manner and form required by law.
