Resolution No. 26111 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 RESOLUTION N0. A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF TBE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF VERNON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF VERNON* STATE ON CALIFORNIA$ DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:. That the public interest and convenience requires, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of said City of Ver- non, to order the following improvement to be made: That an eight inch (8") vitrified pipe sanitary sewer, together with manholes, flush tank and other appurtenances, be constructed on East 26the Street in said City, from a point twenty-five feet (25 ft.) west of the East line of Santa Fe Avenue 15 to a point Two thousand one hundred and eighty feet (2,180 ft.) 1611 Easterly therefrom, in accordance with Plan No. 155 and Specifica- 17tion No. 12 of said City. 18 All specifications herein referred to are on file} n the 1911 office of the City Clerk of said City. w! All plans and profiles herein referred to are on file in 211 the office of the City Engineer of said City, and it is hereby deter- 22 mind that the serial bond shall be issued to represent assess• 2311ments of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or over for the cost of said 2411 improvement herein mentioned; said serial bonds to extend over a 25 26 period of nine (9) years from and after the second day of January next succeeding their date, and an even annual proportion of the ,. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that Serial Bond shall be issued to represent assessments of $25.00 or over, for the cost of said improvement above mentioned; said Serial Bond to extend over a period of nine (9) years from and after the 2nd day of January next succeeding their dates, and an even annual propor- tion of the principal sum thereof shall be payable by coupon on the 2nd day of January of every year after their date until the whole of said bond is paid, and the interest shall be paid semi- annually by coupon, on the 2nd day of January and July respec- tively, of each year, at the rate of seven (7 per cent) per cent per annum on all sums unpaid, until the whole sum of said principal and interest is paid. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday, the 6th day of September, 1923, at nine o'clock A. M., in the Council Chambers of the Board of Trustees of said City of Vernon, any and all per- sons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement. may appear before said Board and show cause why said propos- ed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said resolution.
