A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES 0' THE CITY OP VERLON,
2 ORDERING CERTAIN WORK TO BE DONE, OR I11PROVE3VIENT TO BE MAAIRE
OIL. EAST 26th STREET IN SAID CITY.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon do
resolve -.as follows:
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon
did, on the 4th day of September, 1923, at a regular meeting of
said board, duly passed arid adopted it resolution of Intention
Teo, 264, declaring its intention to order the hereinafter des-
cribed work to be done, or i.provement to be made in said city;

12�as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of J. A. Bowen,

of the City Clerk of said city, and

SECTIOA I. That the public interest and convenience
requires the work hereinafter described to be done; and the
Hoard of Trustees of the City of Vernon hereby orders the fol-
lowing work to be done, or improvement to be made in said

31i SECTION II. The said Board of Trustees also
321,; deterr.,ined and declared that serial bonds shall be issued to

1 represent each assessment of $25.00 or more remaining unpaid
2 twenty (20) days after the date of the warrant. Said serial
3 bonds shall extend over a period ending nine (9) years from
41 the second day of January neat succeeding the fifteenth day of
5 the next November following their date; said bonds shall bear
61 interest at the rate of seven per cent (7%) per annum, and pay-
7 ments on the principal of unpaid assessments and interest shall
s,, be made by property owners to the City Treasurer and the same
91 shall be disbursed by him, all as provided in the said Improve-
lo' ment Act of 1911.
11 SECTION III. For further particulars reference is
12 hereby made to said resolution. of Intention No. 264, on file
1311 in the office of the City Clerk, in the City.Hall of said
City.
15 SECTICi IV. The City Clerk is hereby ordered to post
16 a notice inviting sealed proposals, or bids, for doing the
17 above described work, together with the specifications there-
18l1 for, conspicuously for five days, on or near the Council
19 Chamber door of the Board of Trustees of tale City of Vernon.
