SECTIO~ I. ~lat the public interest and convenience
requires, aLd it is thei ntention of the Board of Trnstees of
the Ci ty 16f Vernon to order the following improvemer:t to be
made, to-wi t:
3 That st. Charles Street, within the said city of
I Vernon, from the south line of Vernon Avenue to the north

line of Junior Street be improved in the following manner:

(a) That said St. Charles Street between the limits
above mentioned be graded to the official grade and the road-

way space thereof be paved with asphalt concrete pavement in
Bcordance with Specification ~o. 18 and Plan, Profile and Cross-

section No. 158 of said City.
(b) That a cerner,t concrete curb be constructed along
oot'l sides of the roadway space of said St. Charles street be-
tween the said linli ts above referred to in accordaLce wi th
Specification Lo. 9, and Plan, Profile and Cross-section 1,0. 158
of said City.
(c) That a. cement concrete gutter one foot (1') in
width be constructed along both sides of the roadway space of
the said St. C:harles street between the said limits above re-
inter
ferred to, excepting, however, that across all street/sectior,s
the said gutter shall oe two feet (2') in width and the center
line of t"le said two foot (2') gutter shall be the produced
curb line of the said st. Charles street; said curb to be
done in Etccorc1ar,ce with '~peGificatior, No. 10 and plan, profile
and cross-section 1:0.158 of said city.
All specifications above referred to are on file in
the office of the City Clerk of said city. All plans, profiles
<:nJd cross-sections are on file in tl1e office of the Ci ty Er,gin-
eer of said City. The said plans, profiles, crosG-sectioYlf ['I,d
specifications are hereby referred to for the full and detailed
description of said proposed wor];:: or improveme!lt.

SECTION II.
The said Board of Trustees also datermined

21 and declared that serial bonds shall be issued to represent each
31 assessment of $25.00 or more rerJaining unpaid twenty (20) days
41 after the da.te of the warrant. Sa.id seriaJ. bonds shall extend

56\ over a period ending nine (9) years from the second day of
Janmry next succeeding the fi f'teenth day of the next l,ovember
7 following their date; said bonds s~~ll bear interest at the
