7 WHEREAS, the Board of Ifrusteee of the City of Vernon cUt,
8 on the 16th day of January, 1924, at an e.cljourned regular meeting
9 of said Board, duly pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No.lt'
10 declaring its intention to order the hereinafter described work to
11 be done, or improvement to be made, in said City; whieh Resolution
12 of Intention was duly and legally published, as required \y law, as
13 appears from the affidavit of J.A. Bowen, publisher of the Hunting-
14 ton Park Signal, Said affidavit is now on file in the office of
15 the Oity Clerk of said City, and
WBlREAS. after the a4opti~n of said R.solution of tnten-
17 tion, to-wit. on the 16th day of January, 1924, notice of the pas-
18 sage of said Resolution of Intention was conspicuously posted along
19 the line of said contemplated work, or improvement, and in front of
20 all property liable to be assessed therefor, at not more than 300
21 feet in distance apart, in the manner and form required by law, as
22
appears from the affidavit of T.J. Furlong, Street Superintendent of
23 said fJit;jJ of Vernon, who personally posted same, and who, upon the

11 from the South line of Vernon Avenue to a point 30 feet South of the
12 North line of Audrey Street be improved in the fOlloWing manner:

14 paved with asphalt conorete pavement in aooordanoe with speoifioa-
15 tions No. 18 and plans, profiles and oross-sections No.158, 162,163

17 (b) That a oement concrete ourb be construoted along the
18 sides of the roadway spaoes of said streets between said limits (ex-
19 oept along the South side of Audrey Street from the East line of Haw-
20 thorne Avenue to a point 50.46 feet Easterly therefrom) in accordance
21with specifioations No.9 and plans, profiles, and cross-seotions
22 No .158, 162, 163 and 164 of said City.

SECTION III.
That 8a1d Board of Trustees also determined
10 and declared that serial bonds shall be iS8ued to represent eaoh
11 assessment of $25.00 or more remaining unpaid after the date of the
12 warrant or the oost of said work or improvement herein mentioned.
13 Said serial bon~8 shall extend over a period ending nine years from
14 the seoond day of January next suooeeding the fifteenth day of the
15 next Jove.ber following their date.

An even annual proportion of the principal sum thereof
17 shall be payable by ooupon on the seoond day of January every year
18 after the fifteenth day of the next November following their date
19 until the whole prinoipal Bum i8 paid; and the interest 8hall be
20 payable semi-annually by ooupon on the seoond days of January and
21 July, respeetiTely. of eaoh year after their date, at the rate of 7$
