That on the 21st day of May 1924, the Board:,of Trustees of the City of
Vernon. passed a Resol~tion of Intention No. 321, declaring its inten-
tion to close up, vacate and abandon the West (W) One Hundred and Fifty
(150),feet of Junior Street. in the City of Vernon. more patticalar
described in Resolution of Intention No. 321. refere>nce to which is
hereby expressly made for further particulars.
That after the adoption o~ said mesolution of Intention. he the said
Street Superintendent. did personally vost conspiciousl;y along line
of said work and apon all etree-tser parts of streets therecf and llp011-
other public places and where property is affected by this Resolution
of Intention headed, "NOTICE OF l?U LIC WORK", said heading being in
letters each of which was nor less than 1 inch in height. a copy of said
notive being annexed hereto and made a part hereof.

That he personally posted the said notices by fastening them with metal
tacks to posts, fencesr walls and trees at an elevation of about five
(0) feet above the grounl. so that they would be sure to attract the
