RESOLVED that the .2resicient of the Board of. Tr\lstees of hhe
City of Vernon and the Clerk of said JJit;;, , be andt.t:-ey are hereby author-

ized and directed for and on behalf of the Oity of Vernon to make applica-
tion to the Board of ?ublic Viorks of the City of Los Angeles for the
right to connect with the sanitary sewer of the City of Los lwgeles and to
use the smile for sewer drainage parposes in an amount of sewage not to
exceed three cubic feet per second, such sewage to be drained from that
portion of the City of Vernon lying sO\lth of the sO\lth line of Vernon
aTenae and east of the west line of the 500-acre Tract of the Los .angeles
Fr\litland Association, and its prolongation southerly.
RESID[lVED l"URTHER, thel. t j,'r\lstee J. B .:teonis and S .11.il-askins ,
as special council for the Ci1iy. be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to confer with said Board of .Public V.orks and other municipal
authoriries of the City of Los Angeles for the purpose of negotiating a
contract with respect to such sewer facilities and to submit s\lch contract
as may be proposed to this Board of Trustees.
