Gentlemen:
I hand you herewith a deed from R. W. poindexter and
wife and M. H. Newmark and wife to the City of Vernon for a
strip of land lying between the Southern Pacific right of way
and Alameda street northerly of Slauson Avenue. I also enclose
some tax bills which are a lien against the property.
The deed will quiet title to the strip of land which
was clouded by reason of the fact that poindexter and Newmark
included a portion of the City of Vernon in their survey.
The land involved is now and has been a part of a public street
in Vernon.
Kindly have the deed recorded.
