Section 1:
That the City Attorney and City Enc;ineer
be and they hereby are instructed to prepare an application in
the name of the City of 'vernon, attested by the City Clerk, to
the Hailroad Commission of the State of California, requesting
permission ancl authority to construct a permanent grade cross-
ing across the Southe;.n Pacific Railroad tracks at Alameda
Street and Forty-ninth Street in said City of Vernon, also in
same a1)plication to petition said Railroad Commission for per:.iis-
610n and authority, pending the construction of the perlnanent
grade crossing, to construct a temporary grade crossing across
said Southern Pacific tracks at a location approximately 100
feet north of Fifty-first Street in sD.id City of Vernon.
Section 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereai'ter the same shall be in full force and effect.
Adopted and approved this 12th day of May, 1925.
