A RESOLUTION OF 'I'HE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF T:HE CITY
OF VERHON EMPLOYING ROBERT HUNT & COMPANY, ENGINEERS,
AS INSPECTORS AT TIrE PLANT WHERE T1I21 CAST IRON PIPE

solve as follows:
VlHEREAS, the City of Vernon is des irous of employing
competent inspectors to inspect the cast iron pipe used by said
City at the plant where said pipe is manufactured; and
'NEEREAS. Hobert Hunt &; Company have expressed a
d.esire to engage in such employment, their fees for said
employment not to exceed the sum of l5t a ton for all pipe
passing their inspection for said city;
TlImREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1:
That Robert Hunt & Company be and they
here1,y are employed to act as inspectors to inspect the cast
iron pipe now being manufactured for the use of the City of
Vernon in their Water De-pa:ctment.
Section 2:
That the City of Vernon does hereby
agree to pay the said Robert Hunt & Company a sum not to exceed
151' per ton for all pipe used by them that has passed the
inspection of the said Robert Hunt & Company.
Section 3:
The said fees to be paid to Robert
Hunt & Company to be drawn upon the Water Department Eond Fund
and shall be payable upon the third Tuesday of each month upon
the presentation of a demand for same having been approved by
the City Engineer of said City.
Section 4:
Said Robert Hunt & Company shall hold
office at the will of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Vernon.
Section 5:
The City Clerk shall certify to the
