RESOLUTION NO. 378
RESOLUT ION OF THE :BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
VERNON EMPLOYUra ROBERT HUln & COllPANY, ENGINEERS,
AS INSPECTORS AT THE PLANT \N.Hm~ THE HYDRANTS TO BE
USED BY THE CITY OF VER.1JON IN THEIR WATER DEPARTUENT
ARE MAHUFACTUHED.
7 The Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon do resolve
8 as follows:
9 VlHEREAS, the City of Vernon is desirous of employing
10 competent inspectors to inspect the cast iron hydrants to be
11 used by said City in their water department, said inspection to
12 be made where said l~drants are manufactufied; and
13 ','/l-IEREAS, Robert Hunt &: Company have expressed a
14. desire to engage in such employment, their fees in said employ-
15 ment not to exceed $1.00 per hydrant for all hydrants used ~y
16 said City and passed by their inspection for said city;
17 NOVl, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: That Robert Hunt & Company be and they are
19 hereby employed to act as inspectors to inspect the cast iron
20 hydrants now being manufactured for the use of the City of
21 Vernon in their Water Department;

Section 2: That the City of Vernon does hereby agree
23 to pay the said Robert Hunt & Company the sum of $1. 00 per
24 hydrant for all hydrants used by them under the present contract
25 now existing between the City of Vernon and 30nes-Thorne Company;

Section 3: The said fee of $1.00 per hydrant to be

31 Section 4: That the said Robert Hunt & Company shall

1 hold office at the will of the Board of Trustees of the City of
2 Vernon.

Section 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
4 of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
5 be in full force and effect.
6 Adopted and approved this 7th day of July, 1925.

adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon, Cali-
fornia, and signed by the President of said Board at the
