RESOLUTION OF THl!: BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ORDERING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE AIm
DELIVER TO THE STREET Su.flERINTENDEN'l' A DIAGRAM
OF THE ntPROVEMl!JN'l' .AND OF THE PROPERTY WITHIN
THE ASSESSllENT DIS'l'RICT DESCRIBlID IN ORDINANCE
OF INTENTION NO. 257, ORDERING THE :MAKING OF THE
ASSESS'MENT BY THE STREET SUPERIN'l'ENllEN'1' .AND THE
GIVING OF NOTICE OF THE FILING THl!JREOF :BY THE
CITY CLERK.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon does
hereby reso1we as follows:
WHEREAS. an Interlocutory J'udgment has been duly
entered in Cause No. 125875 of the Civil Docket of the Superior
Court of the state of California, in and for the C9unty of Los
Angeles, entitled "City of Vernon, a municipal corporation. vs

Security National Bank of Pasadena, a corporation, et al,"
whereby it was ordered, adjudged and decreed that upon the pay-
16
ment to the parties therein named of the amount. found to be due
17
18
them as compensation, the property involved in the said action
and described in said Ordinance of Intention No. 257, shall be
19
condemned to the use of plaintiff and dedicated to the use spec~
20
fied in plaintiff's complaint; and

'NHEREAS, the Board of Trustees have now acquired jur-
isdiction to make this order, the said Board of Trustees does
hereby resolve as follows:

That the City Engineer of the City of Vernon shall

land. and the relative location of the same to the proposed
improvements.
Section 2.
The said City Engineer shall deliver said diagram to
the Street Superintendent and Shall endorse thereon the date of
such delivery, and the Street Supel,"intendent upon reo.lYing the
said diagram, shall proceed to assess the total expenses of the
proposed improvements as provided by law. and shall complete
said assessment within sixty days after receipt by him of said
diagram.

Upon the completion of said assessment the Street
Superintendent shall file the same with the City Clerk.. who
shall give notice of such filing by posting a notice of such
filing for at least three weeks in three of the most public
places in the City of Vernon. to-wit:. The North-west corner
of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue. and the Southwest corner
of 37th Street and Santa Fe Avenue. and in front of the City
Hall of said City. located at No. 4305 Santa Fe Avenue.
