(5) That a cement concrete and steel box culvert
be constructed on the east side of Pacific Boulevard at
Eng i.neer' s stat ion 14 plus 44, as s llown on said plan,
profile and cross-section No. 204 of said City.
There is excepted from all the above described
work any portion of which is required by law to oe kept
in order or repair by any person or c~mpany having rail-
road or railway tracks thereon.
All plans, profiles and cross-sections herein
referred to are on file in the office of the City Enginee~
All speCifications herein referred to are on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
The grade to which the above described work is
to be done is different from tI10 official grade as estab-
lished on said street and referenoe to said plan, profile
and oross-section Uo. 204 is hereby 1m,de for further par-

territory included in the pro~osed district is on file in the
office of the City Engineer. Reference is hereby made to said
plat or map for a further full and complete description of said
assessp,cr;t district. The said Iilat or map there or: file shall

1 govern for all details as to the extent of said assessment

Section 3: The said Board of Trustees also determines
4 and declares that serial bonds bearing interest at the rate of
5 seven per cent (7%) per annum shall be issued to represent each
6 assessment of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or more remaining un-
7 paid for twenty (20) days after' the date of the warnmt. said
8 serial bonds 8hall extend over a period ending nine (9) years
9 from the second day of January next succeeding the 15th day of
10 the next November following their date. Payment of tho princi-
11 pal of unpaid assesmr:ents 2.nd interest shall be made by property
12 owners to the City Treasurer o.nd s:s:.r.1eshal1 be disbursed by him,
13 all as provided in "The Improvement Act of 1911."

Section 4: That on Yonday, the 16th day of November.

16 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon, in the City Hall
17 of said City, situate at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in said City, any

21 be carried out in accordance with this resolution. Said protest

resolution of intention to be published twice in the "Huntington
Park Signal" a daily newspaper of general circulation :pUblished

Section 6: The Street Superintendent of the City of
4 Vernon shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of
5 said contemplated work or improvement. and in front of all
6 property liable to be assessed to pay the cost and expense of

7 said improvement, notice of the passage of this resolution in
8 tlle manner and form recluired by law.

Sect~on 7: All of the herein proposed work or im-
provement shall be done in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature
of the state of California.. designated and known as liThe Improve-
ment Act of 1911", and Acts supplementE,ry thereto or e.mendatory
thereof.
