A RESOLUTION OF TEE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AWARDING TEE CONTRACT FOR THE WORK .AND IMPROVEME:N'l'
DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 387.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon
did, in open session, on the 16th day of November, 1925, open,
examine and declare the seaJ.ed proposals or bids for doing certain
work and improveme.nt in said ei t,. under and in pursuance of the
"I:mprovement Act of 1911-, the character and location of said
proposed work being described in said Resolutaan of Intention No.
387 of said Board of Trustees, adopted on the 8th day of October,
1925, which Resolution of Intention is hereby expressly referred
to for further particulars: THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED. that the Board of Trustees of the said
City of Vernon hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except
the next herein mentioned and hereby award the contract for the

doing of said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bid-
der, to-wit: Joe Ohutuk, at the price named in his bid, to-wit:

The City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish a
notice of this award twice in the Huntington Park Signal, 8.
newspaper published in the County of Los Angeles, the City of
Huntington Park, the State of California. and circulated in the
City of Vernon, said paper being designated by said Board of
Trustees as the paper to publish the Notice of Award herein.
There is not now, nor has there been at any time herein mentioned
a deily, weekly or semi-weekly newspaper prirrted. published and
circulated in said City of Vernon.
