examine and declare the sealed proposals or bids for doing
certain work and improvement in said City under and in pur-
suance to the ItImprovement Act of 1911tl, the character and
location of said proposed work being described in Resolution
of Intention No. 460 of said Board of Trustees, adopted the
7th day of September, 1926, which Resolution of Intention is
hereby expressly referred to for further particulars.
THER;FORi'l, BE IT RESOLVED. that the Board of Trustees
of said City of Vernon reject all of said proposals or bids ex-
cept the next herein mentioned and hereby awarcl the c ontrc.ct

for the doing of said work and improvement to the lowest respon-
