Section 1. That the public interest and convenience
re"luire and it is the intention of the Board of Tru<ltees of
the City of Vernon to order the follOWing street work done or
iillprovmnent to be n~de, to-wit:
That Topeka l...venue in said City. between the Vies t line
of Santa Fe Avenue and a point ten (10) feet easterly froo' the
east line of Alameda Street, be improved inthe following
manner:
(a) That said street between said limits be
graded and the roadway thereof be paved wi~! an asphalt concret
pavement eight (8) inches in thickness.
(b) That a cement concrete curb be constructed along
the north side of the roadway of said street between said
linits 8.no. along the oouth side of the roadvmy of said
street from the west line of Santa Fe Avenue to a point
769.73 feet east of the easterly line of Alar.leda Street.
(c) That a cement concrete gutter one foot in width
be constructed along the north side of the roadway of sai d
avenue between said limits, and along the south side there-
of from the west line of Santa Fe Avenue to a point 769.73
feet east of the easterly line of Alameda Street, at which
point the gutter shall cross to the north side of the

Eo. 201, on file in the office of the Ci ty Engineer, e.nd further
in accordance with Specifications no. 18 for the construction of
asphalt concrete pavement, lJo. 9 for the construction of' curbs,
Ho. lO for the construction of gutters, and ITo. 12 for the
construction of sewers, allan file in the office of the City
Clerk of said City.
Said plans t profiles I cross-sections and specifica-
tions heretofore approved by said Eoard of' Trustees are
incorporated herein and made Q. :fart hereof and reference is

work as to location and dimensions thereof.
