A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNOl\f DECLARING 'l'HEIR INTENTIOl'r TO ORDER CERTAIlif
WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE MADE AS HEREINAFTER SET
FORTH AND DESCRIBING THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED
TO PAY THE COST AlID EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENT.
The City Council of the City of Vernon do resolve
as follows:

Section 1.
That the public interest and convenience
require a.nd it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of Vernon to order the following street work done or improve-
ment to be made. to-wit:
That Bandini Boulevard in said City. between the

easterly right of way line of the San Pedro Branch of the Los
Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad and the easterly boundary line
of the City of Vernon, be improved in the following manner:
(a) That that portion of Bandini Boulevard lying
between the easterly right of way line of the San Pedro
Branch of the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad and the
easterly Boundary line of the City of Vernon be graded
and the center twenty-eight (28) feet thereof paved with
asphalt concrete pavement eight (8) inches in thickness
and that certain decomposed granite pavement six (6) feet
in width and eight (8) inches in thickness be constructed
along the sides of said asphalt concrete pavement.all as
shown on the plans hereinafter referred to.

There is hereby excepted from all of the above de-
scribed work a.ny portion thereof required by la.w to be kept in

order or repair by any person or company having railroad tracks
thereon.
The grade to which the work shall be done and improve-
ment made which is provided for in this Resolution of Intention
shall be that shown on the plans and profiles hereinafter re-
ferred to and reference is hereby made to said plans for a de-
script ion of such gra.de.
All of the foregoing work and improvement shall be dore
