A RESOLUTIon OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON DECLARING TRInR HITENTIOlf TO ORDER CERTAIN
WORK AND n1PROVEMENr TO BE I\WJE AS HEREINAFTER
SET FORTH AND DESCRD3IN"G THE DISTRICT TO Rill ASSESSED
TO PAY THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID IJJ1PHOVEI\ffi:NT.
The City Council of the City of Vernon do resolve
as follows:
Section 1:
That the public interest and convenience
reCJ.uire a.nd it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Vernon to order the following street work done or
improvement to be made. to-wit:
That Topeka Avenue in said City, hetween the west
line of Santa Fe Avenue and a point ten (10) feet easterly

from the east line of Alameda Street. be improved in the
following manner:

(a.) That said street between said limits be
graded and the roadway thereof be ~aved with a.n
asphalt concrete pavement eight (8J inches in
thickness.
(b) That a cement concrete curb be construct-
ed a.long the north side of the roadway of said
street between said limits and along the south side
of the roadway of said street from the west line of
Santa Fe Avenue to a point 769.73 feet vast of the
easterly line of Alameda Street.
(c) That a cement concrete gutter one foot in
width be constructed along the north side of the
roadway of said avenue between said limits. and along
the south side thereof from the west line of Santa
Fe Avenue to a point 769.73 feet east of the easte.r-
ly Hne of Alameda Street. at which point the gutter
shall crOSB to the north side of the street at a
width of two feet . as shown on the plans therefor.
