TING ELECTION OFFICERS FOR A s..."OJ!:CIAL ELECTION TO

ZING THE CITY CIERK OF SAID CITY TO ISSUE AND
HAVE. WBLISBED A NOTICE OF SUCH ELECTION.
The City Council of the Oi ty of Vernon does
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City
Council of the City of Vernon requesting said Council to
call a special election in the hereinafter described ter-

ritory and submit to the qualified electors a proposition
to annex the said described property to the City of Vernon,
and the property therein be, after such annexation, subject
to taxation equally with the proDerty within such municipal
corporation to pay any and all bonded indebtedness of
said municipal corporation outstanding at the date of filing
of said petition, and
\1HEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Vernon did,

in said County of L.os Angeles; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did duly certify that the
signattures attached to said petition consist of more th~n
one-fourth in number of all the qualified electors residing

Register of Voters in said Los Angeles County.
\VHEREAS, said petition was duly referred to the
City Engineer of said City of Vernon to ascertain if said
