A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING :MAP OF AN ASSESSMENT
DrSTRIC! FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 57TH STREET
(SOMETIMES C.ALIED CENTER AVul..lll) AND A PORTION
OF SECOND STREET, FROM SANTA FE AV.JjJNl.1E TO A
LINE: TEN FEET EASTERLY FROM AND PARALLEL '!'lITH
THE EASTERLY LINE OF ALAMEDA STREET.

W~. it is the intention of the City Council of
8i the City of- Vernon to improve 57th Street (sometimes called
9 Center Avenue) and a portion of Second Street, from Santa
10, Fe Avenue to a line ten feet easterly from and parallel with
11 the easterly line of AIlameda Street: and
121 W~REAS, a certain district of said city is to be
13 benefited by said improvement, and said district is to be
14 assessed to pay the expenses thereof, and to be known as an
151 asseswnent district. and
1~ \VHEREAS. it is the desire of the City Council of
17 the City of Vernon to approve a map submitted by Howard
18 McCurdy, City Engineer of said city, referred to and known as
19: Map No. 202-~ said map showing the boundaries of the ter-
20 ritory to be included in said assessment district:

THEREFORE, be it r esolv ed:
Section 1: That the map of the assessment district
23 for the improvement of 57th Street and a portion of Second
24 Street in said city, known as llap No. 202-A and hereto
25 attached, be and the same is hereby approved.:

Section 2: Tha.t the City Clerk of the said City of
Vernon is directed to certify to the passage of this resolution
and thereupon the swme shall be in full force and effect.
