The City Council of the City of Vernon does resolve
as follows:
,VHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors of Los
Angeles County has appropriated by resolution to the City of
Vernon the sum of Thirty-two thousand ($32,000.00) Dollars,
to be used to pay a portion of the improvement of Soto Street;
and
!ffiEllEAS, it is the desire of the City Council to
use the said $32,000.00 for the purpose of its appropriation;

Section 1. That the sum of $32,000.00 appropriated
by the County of Los Angeles for the improvement of Soto
Street be deposited in the General Fund of said City.
Section 2. That the said sum of $32,000.00 be ap-
propriated out of the General Fund to pay a portion of the
improvement of Soto street, and that said appropriation be
mentioned in the Resolution of Intention for the iJ~rovement
of said street.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the said City of
Vernon shall certify to the passage of this Hesolution, and,
thereupon, the same shall be in full force and effect.
Adopted and approved this 3rd day of September, 1929.
