Section 1: ~hat the firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher
of the city of Los Angeles be, and it is hereby, employed as
special counsel to represent the city of Vernon in that cer-
tain cause now pending in the Superior Court, entitled
1111'he City of Los Angeles, a munic ipal corpol'at ion, plaint iff,
vs. lhe City of Vernon, a municipal corporation, The Board of
Trustees of the City of Vernon, and 1'. J. Durbin, J. 'N. Kniffin,
J. J. ~urlong, J. B. Leonis and R. Levy, as individuals, mem-
bel'S of the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon", being
case No. 290951.
Sect ion 2: That the City of Vernon 8110.11 ]Jay a
reasonable compensation to said firm of attorneys and counsel-
leI'S on the presentation of their bill.
Section 3: ~'he City Clerk of the City of {ernon is
