A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, DECLAR-
ING TEE RESULT OF AN ELECTION HELD PlJRSUANTTu ORDINANCE No. 433
OF SAID CITY, BEING AN ORDJ:NANCE DEFINING AND ESTABLISHING THE
B01Th1DARTES OF A MUNICIPAP IMPRuVEMENT DISTRICT IN SAID CITY,

'NHEREA&i an election was held in the City of Vernon

within a certain district of said city, which election was held
pursuant to law and to Ordinance No. 433 of said city, and.which
said district 1s more particularly described in said Ordinance
No. 433; and
1l'lHEREAS,. it appear~ that by said Ordinance No. 433, duly
posted in three public place.s in the City of Vernon for the time
required by law, an election was held pursuant to law and to said
Ordinance No. 433 in that certain district of the City o~ Vernon
more particularly described in said Ordinance No. 433, which
said election Was held for the purpose o~ submitting to the
qualified voters of said district the proposition of whether or
not said Municipal Improvement District known'as Municipal 1m;"
provement"Distri~:t_No. 2 of said city, should incur a debt
.1ssue the bonds o.f'sald district for the
rights-of-ways for public sewers and for
sewers in said right-of-ways and in certain public streets in
said city and to pay the costs of incidental expenses in cqnneci;ion

Dollars ($125,OOO.00); and

WHEREAS, said election was duly and regularly held.as
provided by law and by said Ordinance No.433; and
i~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon, on
this 31st day of March,1930, being the first.Monday after such
election, met at their usua.l place of meeting, to-vvit, the
Council Chamber in the Oi ty Hall of the City of Vernon, toeanvass,
and did canvass the returns of said election and at said
place directed the,Oi ty Clerk to enter on the records of
Council a statement of tbe result 0:''3ai1 election;
NOV'l, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Vernon
resolves as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of V~r~Q*
finds and determines:
That said election in said Municipal Improvement Distric.t
No.2 of the City of Vernon was held and conducted on the 25.th
day of March, 1930, in time, form and manner as required by law

for the acquisition of certain right-of..ways and
for the construction of sanitary sewers, consist-
ing of various sizes of vitrified clay pipe, toge-
ther with manholes, flush tanks, Y branches,
and all necessary appurtenances in certain portions
of the streets and in said right-or-ways to be
acquired, all as more particularly described in
Ordinance of Intention No. 430,
was adopted by more than two-thirds (2!3) vote or by a mlljority,
