A R1!lSOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON A'vVARDING
THE CONTRACT FOR THE vVORK AND IMPROVE:MENTS DESCRIBED IN RESOLU-
TION OF INTI~TIOl'I NO. 578.
'N.HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon did,
in open session at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st
day of April, 1930, open, examine and declare the sealed pro-
posals or bids for doing certain work and improvement in said
City under and in pursuance to the "Improvement Act of 19l1",
the character and. location of said proposed work being de-
scribed in Resolution of Intention No. 578 of said City Council,
adopted the l8th day of March, 1930, which Resolution of In-
tention is hereby expressly referred to for further particulars;

TEEBEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
16 of said City of Vernon reject all of said proposa.ls or bids
17 except the next herein mentioned, and hereby awa.rd the contract
18 for the doing of said work and improvement to the lowest
19 responsible bidder, to-wit, L. A. PAVING CO. (INC.), at the
20 price named in its bid, to-wit:
