EA~EMENT
Received of the City of Vernon,One Hundred Fifty
($150.00) Dollars, in consideration of which the undersigned,
The Griffith Company, a corporation, pursuant to a resolution
of its Board of Directors, hereby grants and conveys to the
City of Vernon, and its successors in interest, a perpetual
easement and right-of-way for storm drainage and spillway pur-
poses, the spillway therefor to end flush with the face of 'the
West abutment of the existing 26th. street concrete bridge, and
the right to construct, maintain and use a covered conduit or
pipe for storm drain purposes at not less than three (3) feet
under the surface of and across that certain real, property be-
ing situated in the said City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles,
state of California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly
line of Tract No. 4 in the Rancho San Antonio,
in the City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles,
state of California, as per map recorded in
Book 52, page 82 of Miscellaneous records of
said County, with the Southerly line of East
26th. Street; thence along the Southerly line
of East 26tp. street Ea$terly sixty-five (65)
feet; thence Southerly, parallel with the West-
erly line of Tract No.4, thirty (30) feet;
thence Westerly parallel with the southerly
line of said East 26th. Street, sixty-five
(65) feet, to the Westerly line of said Tract
No.4; thence along the Westerly line thereof
Northerly thirty (30) feet to the point of
beginning.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Griffith Company, a cor-
poration, has hereunto set its hand and seal the day and year
first above written.
