6 The City Counoil of the City of Vernon does resolve
RESOLUTION NO. 591
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
FIXING THE NAME OF A CERTAIN STREET WITHIN SAID CITY.
7 as follows:
8 WHEREAS,there is a certain street within the City
9 of Vernon that is referred to as AUDREY STREET; and
10
\VHEREAS, said street is sometimes known as East
11 45th Street; and
12 WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that
13 public interest and convenience would best be served by fix-
14 ing and designating a name for said street so that henoeforth
15 the streett would have an official name that would not be con-
16 fusing to the citizens;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the public con-
18 venience requires, and the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 does hereby order, that the name of Audrey Street in said city
20 be changed to East 45th Street, and that said street shall
21 henceforth be known as East 45th Street.
22 That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
23 this Resolution and the ssme shall be in full force and effect
24 an and after said certifioatio~
