RESOLUTION NO. 614
A RESOLUTIOl-r OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE CO:MPENSATION TO BE PAID THE POWER PLANT ENGINEER.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon is
desirous of creating the office of City Power Plant Engineer
of said city; and
;~S, the said City Council is desirous of f~-
ing the compensation of said City Power Plant Engineer;-
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That there shall be, and there hereby
is, created the office of City Power Plant Engineer;
Section 2: i'hat the duties of said Gity Power
Plant Engineer ahall consist of the full and complete super-
vision of the city power plant and distributing system;
Section 3: :i'hat Howard McCurdy, City Engineer of
said city of Vernon be, and he is hereby, employed (in addi-
tion to hie other duties) as City Power Plant Engineer, at
a compensation of $300.00 per month, payable monthly;
Section 4: 1'hat the City Power Plant Engineer shall
hold office at the pleasure of the City Council.
Section 5: That the City Clerk of the said City
of Vernon is directed to certify to the passage of this Resolu-
tion and thereupon the same shall be in full force and effect.
