3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTH-
ORIZING CERTAIN OFFICIALS TO WITHDRAW MONEY NOW ON DEPOSIT
4 BY THE CITY 'KITH THE .A:M:H:RICAN mUST CO:MPANY, \mOSE BEAD OFFICE
IS AT 464 CALIFORNIA STREET. SAN FRANC ISCO, CALIFORNIA..

6 WHEREAS, the City has on deposlt aertaln funds
7 secured. from the sale of the power bonds of the Cit.y with the
8 Amer ican Trust Company of San hanc isco; and
9 WBEREAS, the said. City wlll withdraw portions of
10 said funds from time to time., and su.ch withdrawals will require
11 signatures upon checks of certain officials of the city, to-wit:
12 the City Clerk, City Treasurer a.nd the Mayor of said City;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1. That T. J'. .l1'urlong, City Clerk, F. G.
15 French, 4.1i ty Treasurer. and J'. J'. ]lurlong, Ma,yor of sa id City,
16 be, and they are hereby, authorized and empowered to withdraw
17 moneys belonging to the City from the .American Trust Company
18 of San Francisco.

Sect ion 2.. That the Ci t.y Clerk shall cert ify to
20 the passage of this Resolut ion and send specimens of the
21 Signatures of these officials to the American Trust. Company of
22 San Fra.ncisco, together with a certified copy of this Resolu-
23 tion, and, upon the signing of this Resolution by the pr"oper
24 officials, same shall be in full force and effeet.
