RESOLUT ION NO. 652

3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DECLAR-
ING THE RESULTS OF A REGULAR mmrCIPAL ELE~ION HELD ON TEX
4 11TH DAY OF APRIL, 1932..

6 WEEREAS. a general munic ipal elect ion was held in
7 the City of Vernon., State of California, on Monday, the 11th
8 day- of April. 1932, for the purpose of electing three members
9 of the City Council of said City, a City Clerk, and a. City
10 Treasurer; and
11 WHEREAS, said elect ion was held and conducted in
12 acc.ordance with the General Laws of the State of. California.
13 as far as same were applicable, and the City Council gave such
14 notice of elect ion as presc.-ribed by law, and a..ppointed a, board
15 of e.1ection, fix.ed their compensation and esta.blished an elec-
16 t i.on precinct and polling place, and sa.id elect ion was held
17 and conducted and the votes cast therea:t were received and
18 ca.nvassed and the returns thereon were made in the :time, form
19 and manner as required by law; a.,nd
20 \JVH::llRE.AS, the City Council did meet on thia, the 18th
21 day of April, 1932., being the Monday nex.t succeeding the date
22 of said generaJ.. municipal elect ion, said date being the da.te
23 of the regula.r meeting of the City Counc il and at such meet ing
24 the City Council canvassed the vote ca.st at said general
25 municipal elect ion; whereupon it was found that the votes
