9 Counci.l of the City of Vernon held on the 6th day of September,
10 1932:, the City Clerk of said City was absent owing to illness;

13 able to sign chacks drawn by said O"1ty; and
14 WHH:fod~A:S, the City is desirous of paying certain bills
15 for merchandise and bil:ts due upon contracts, and bUls due for
16 labor, before the said City Clerk will be able to return to his

and 1t is hereby, authorized, elllPowered a.l1d requested by the
City of Vernon to pEq all checks drawn by the Clty and bearing
date September 6. 1932., and signed by 1'. :r. Furlong as kyor and
F. G. French as City Trea.surer, but. that af"ter the said 6th day
of September, 1932, all checks drawn by said Oi ty must bear the
signature of T. 1'. Fur'long in addition to the signatures of :F. 1'.
Furlong and 7. G. French.
Section 2: That G. L Anderson, Deputy City Clerk,
is dir'ected to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon the same sba.ll be in full force and effect.
