THE RESUIlfS OF A REGULAR WNICIPAL :EI.;EC'rION HELD IN SAID CIn ON

WHEREAS. a general. municipal e1ee'tion was. held in
the City of Vernon, State of California, on llond8\Y', the 9'th
day of April, 1934, for the purpose of e,leeting three members
of the City Council of said City; and
\ilmREAS., said e1ect ion was held and conduct ed in

accordance with the Genenal Laws of the State of California

as far as Same were appllcabl.e, and the City Council. gave such
notice ~ election as prescribed by law, and appointed a board
of e,leetion, fixed. their compensat ion and es.ta.blished an elec-
t ion precinct and polling place, and said elect ion was held
and conducted a.nd the votes cast thereat were received a.nd

canvassed and the returns thereon Viere made in the time, form

and manner as required by law; and
Vf.mIR:llAS, the City Council did on this, the 16th dq
of April, 1934, being the MOnday next succeeding the date of
said general muniaipal eleation, said date being the date of
the regular meeting of the City Counoil, and at such :meeting
the Oi t,y Council canvassed the votes cast at said general
munic ipal elect ion; whereupon it was found that the votes
cas.t at said eleet ion were as foll.ows:
