Cottncil of the city of Vernon a memorandum of agreement by
the Division of Highways,Distriot VII, of the State Qf Cali-
fornia, in aooordanoe with Chapter 767 of the Statutes of
1933; and

WHJ.m1U.S, the work embraced in aaid agreement covers
the maintenanoe of Downey Road between 36th Street and 1I'ruit-
land Road, in the city of Vernon, ealifarnia, uutil June 30,

]lOW, THEREFORE, mc IT RESOLVED:
Seet ion l.. That the Iayar and City Clerk of the
City af Vernon be, and they are hereby, authorized and ill-
structed to exeoute said memorandum of agreement on behalf
of the oity of Vernon;
Seetion 2.. That the City C1.erk is hereby inatructed

to otE:tify to the pas.aage of this reso1.ution and to oause a
certified oopy thereof to. be forwarded to the Div ision of

23 Highways, Distriot VII, of the State of Califer'nia, at 808
