RESOLUTION NO. 777
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTH-
ORIZING ALL MONEYS DEPOSITED FOR THE YEAR 1935-36 IN THE
SPECIAL GAS TAX STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND BE USED FOR THE IM-
PROVEMENT OF VERNON AVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That all moneys received by the City
from the State of California from the special gas tax collected
by the State for the year 1935-36 and deposited in the Special
Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund, shall be used and expended
for the improvement of Vernon Avenue within the City of Vernon.
Section 2: That the City Engineer shall submit to
the City Council for its approval such surveys, plans, speci-
fications and estimates as will be needed upon said Vernon
Avenue before same is submitted to the California Hlgnway
Connnission.
Section 3: That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
