1 RESOLUTION NO. 796
2 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING T. M. McCOMB TO THE OFFICE OF CHIEF
ENGINEER OF THE CITYtS POWER PLANT, AND DEFINING HIS DUTIES

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That T. M. McComb be, and he hereby is,
appointed to the office of the Chief Engineer of the city's
power plant.
Section 2: That said Chief Engineer shall be in

charge of the city's Diesel generating station, and, in such
capacity, shall be in charge of the complete operation and
maintenance of the plant.
Section 3: That said Chief Engineer, together with
the Chief Electrical Engineer, shall be individually responsible,
in their respective positions, to the City, and sp~ll be jointly
responsible for the successful and satisfactory operation of the
Diesel and electric operations of the plant as a whole.
Section 4: That said Chief Engineer shall make all
reports and recommendations to his immediate superior, to-wit,
the Chairman of the Water & Power Committee.
Section 5: That the salary of the Chief Engineer
shall be the same as he is receiving at the present time un-
til the further order of the City Council. He shall hold said
office at the pleasure of the City Council.
Section 6: That all Resolutions and parts of
Resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
rescinded.
Section 7: That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
