Resolution No. 824 .. ., . ~ 1 RESOLUTION NO. 824 2 A RESOI,UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DE- 3 CLARING THE PREVAILING RATE PER DIEM \iVAGES FOR LP.BOR TO BE USED IN THE ERECTION OF A DEEP WELL PUMP FOR THE CITY OF 4 VERNON. 5 THE CITY COUNCIL DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOVS: 6 Section 1: That the City Council of the City of 7 Vernon does hereby find and declare that the prevailing rate 8 per diem vmges far laborers, workmen and mechanics employed 9 by contractors and sub-contractors for the doing of any work 10 in the erection of a deep well pump for the City of Vernon 11 is as follows: 12 Class of Work Prevailing Rate Time Rate for Overtime and Legal Holidays Straight time " " " " " " 13 Pump Installers $8.00 14 Journeymen Electricians 8.00 Helpers 5.00 15 Laborers 4.00 16 17 18 For any craft not included in the list the minimum per diem wages shall be the general prevailing wages for the locality, and shall not be less than $4.00 per day. 20 21 Section 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon is directed to certifY to the passage of this Resolu- tion, and thereupon tha same shall be in full force and effect.
