3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON GRANTING
DESELLEM A SIX MONTH'S LEAVE OF ABSENCE FROM DECEMBER 15, 1937.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, DeSellem has been ill, and at this time feels
unable to perform his duties as bookkeeper for the City of Vernon,
and requests a leave of absence for a period of six months from
December 15, 1937, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of complying with
the request of said DeSellem,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: That DeSellem be, and he is hereby granted
a leave of absence for a period of six months from the 15th. day
of December, 1937.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
