A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING MEMORANDIDJ OF AGREEMENT FOR ACCUMU-
LATION OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR I~~ORTANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented
to be entered into with the State of California, in accordance

with a project statement for accumulation of the one-quarter cent
9
gas tax for the fiscal year 1938 allocated for Streets of Major
Importance other than State highways in the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement
in fUll and is familiar with the contents thereof,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That said project statement be, and it is
15 hereby adopted as the budget of the one-quarter cent gas tax
16 allocated for Streets of Major Importance other than State high-
17 ways, and said agreement be, and the same is hereby approved and
18 the Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf
of said City, said agreement to be binding upon the City upon
its execution by the authorized officials of the State.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
f this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
