3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ESTAB-
LISHING A POLLING PLACE, APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS TO CONDUCT
4 AN ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL 12, 1938, AND FIXING THEIR COMPENS-
ATION.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That at the general City election to be
8 held at the City Hall of the City of Vernon, California, on
9 April 12, 1938, there shall be one voting precinct in said City
10 and the polling place in said precinct shall be in the City Hall
11 of said City, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, California.

Section 2: That the election officers to conduct the
13 general municipal election to be held on Tuesday, April 12,
14 1938, are hereby appointed and designated as follows:

Inspector: (1)
Judge: (1)
Clerks: (2)
Margaret E. Cai1laud,
Cora M. Smith,
Arnette Towne,
Gladys Hoffman.

18 Each election officer aforementioned being an elector and
19 residing in the City of Vernon, and the compensation of said
20 election officers shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00) for his or her
21 services at said election.

Section 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution,
and, thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
