3 A RESOLU'lION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON~ CALIF-
ORNIA ~ AUTHORIZING AND INSTRUCTING 'lHE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF
4 'lHE CITY OF VERNON TO EXECUTE TWO EASEMENTS BETWEEN 'lHE LAS VEGAS
LAND AND WA'lER COMPANY AND THE CITY OF VERNON.

'lHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: V
WHEREAS~ the Las Vegas Land and Water Company has
presented to the City of Vernon two easements, numbering
C.L.D. No. ~ and C.L.D. No. 1979, and

WHEREAS, said Agreement of Easements bas been ap-
proved by the City Attorney as to form, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon is
desirous of accepting said easements for the construction,
maintenance and operation of sewers across Lots 19, 20, 21 and
~22-A
. ~!f~ NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That the Mayor of said City of Vernon
and the City Clerk thereof be authorized, instructed and em-
powered to sign~ for and in behalf of the City, said Agreement
between the Las Vegas Land and Water Company and the City of
Vernon, granting said easements to the City of Vernon.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the

23 passage of this resolution, and thereupon and tbereafter the
24 same shall be in full force and effect.

Referring to conversation with ~ office
a few days ago regarding Resolution 907, passed by the
Ci ty of Vernon, June 7th, authorizing the Mayor and City
Clerk to sign easements between Las Vegas Land & Water
Company and City of Vernon, covering the construction,
maintenance and operation of sewers across Lots 19, 20,
21 and 22: ~
Pursuant to subsequent request made by Mr.
Francis Bates, Oity Engineer of Vernon, I am returning
to you the original of ,the resolution above mentioned.
You will recall, as stated in telephone conversation,
easement identified as. C.L~D. Jio. 1978, is .trom the Los
Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Compan~ and Union Pacific
Railroad Company to the City ot Vernon, ,rather than from
the Las Vegas Land ~ Water Company to the City_
When corrective resolution has been passed
